Dynamic Etudes for Saxophone
These studies were designed to cover many difficult technical problems without the monotony of the multi-paged bid old "fat" books. I found it difficult to get students to apply themselves to the old fashioned scale exercises. Also, the same technical problems that were so boring in the old books, when arranged in a melodic fashion, were inspiring to both students and professionals. Students have no problem practicing when the etudes sound like compositions, not exercises.
